Adventures in Clay
i had a friend called Jose Hornman. She is an artist who i met in the Healing Arts School, who also works with clay. i don’t remember exactly how it came about, but one day we met in her atelier and i created this statue. i think we worked on it over two times. i really enjoyed it and i love how the statue came out too. Very much inspired by the Jean M. Auel’s Earth Children book series. Mother Earth ,Fertile Goddess who is all of us ,which is why her face is covered. So she remains impersonal. Although i think in the books the author gave another reason.
